Theirs been something on my mind lately

Ye ye ye, I  know you guys all read my blog with all the mitakse.

But I also appreciate that you dont comment. ;)

That was me trying to be sarcastic while writting about my english skills, let me explain where im holding and where im headed.

I grew up in a Frum community and studied at a Chabad Lubavitch Yeshiva, we had optional classes learn english which I didn't go to, rather we had to pick it up ourselves or learn it at home like I did.

Years later I decided that it would be best for me to learn and practice how to correctly grammer my writting abilities and so I started a blog! This was over two years ago and im sure if any of you have seen it back then my writing abilities made it difficult and somewhat not as interesting to read (thats besides Google who would read my blog and say "This guy isnt even talking our language or about creative photography so we wont show it to anyone)

Here I stand, writting full paragraphs of information that is so simple yet entertaining?

I promise this came with the help of my many caring friends and family who have encouraged me to stay away from that awful "Txt lang" and keep to the full appearance of word in the great English language.

I would like to personally thank all of you who showed patience and helped me with any mistake and took the time to have it explained to me, so I would understand my mistake and correct it for next time.

How often does it bother you enough that you would rather not write anything then have someone read it and correct it?

What can I say, I started getting alot of comments and people saying "Maybe you should keep to posting photos, thats really what your good at"

But I blog anway and i try to keep you entertained with cute children photographs. Take that! and now im better then where I was yesterday.

Wishing you only the best in all your endeavors and reach success beyond your wildest expectations.

Shabbat Shalom!

Bris Milah -Photographed in New Jersey

After rushing back after the Pesach holiday I was asked by my cousin to join his sons bris and take a few photographs.

After all the details in how I would get to New Jersey it was decide that I would ride with a car service with my cousins, in a 15 passenger van.  One word: Never again.

I promise you will understand if you do it once, stuck in traffic in a hot isolated, claustrophobic vehicle with alot of children and kids video tapes. ughhhhhh

The bris was fine, I had a issue with the sunlight coming into the window and the fact that they decided to do the ceremony right near the window. So you can see the warm light on everyones faces as I tried to flash fill the rest of the images.

Event photography isnt my strong point, I think i did more then a good job but I cant say that I love it besides for all the candid shots that I can get. Which is fun (And posing people in real life "stories")

I also wanted to thank all of you who are up to date with my blog, I dont know all of you but I do see the number of visiters and return visiters. It meants alot to me!

All the best to each and everyone of you!

Tuli - The kid in the black hat

Oh Tuli is a very cute and photogenic kid but that also comes with the rough kid photo shoot.

He looks calm in the photos but not always do kids sit like Mamale's although we wish he did. Tuli is starting to grow those Upsherin hair, I wonder if his mom will let me take his Upsherin photos!  ;)

Looking forward to a nice Shabbos and another full week ahead!

Tuli on Erev Pesach!

Eye photo in detail.
So Its Erev Pesach and everyone is probably busy with the preparations for this lovely tasteful holiday.

Well in my house we took out the camera and photographed some children, here is Naftoli the lovely with his very cute outfit and he posed for a few photographs with me just after his Yom tov nap.

I figured we could try some new pictures to the fellow neighbors for free so I can have some new faces and fresh work for you guys!

The last photo was just to show the fascinating colours in Bayla's eyes, she has really beautiful eyes.

Happy and Kosher Pesach!

"Keep focus" a sketch by Levi

Keeping focused may sound cliche, but its something I find myself talking about to a lot of people.

Just about anyone that is successful at his or her job will tell you that they focus their efforts into what they love and into what they have a passion for. They will tell you stories of how they didn't let those who tried to tell them that they will fail if he or her tried.

Focus is a word that is read slowly, it is read with something in mind.

I can tell you from my own experience and I wake up in the morning with this screaming in my head "Never let the fear of failure creep into your dreams to reach the heights"

As powerful as it seams, you must fight, and stay focused. keep it focused on a smaller limited number of subjects as possible and let others to the rest of the work, then you will see how you can stretch your arm much farther with the help of others. (And you will have to ask for help, and you will have to let them help you)

Yes or no, the question is "when you are %80 in focus, do you get more work done?"

If the answer is no, then you have a great sarcastic sense of humor. I get it!
